The Global Standard Partners are very excited to participate in the International Civil Society Week (ICSW) in Belgrade from April 8th to 12th. It was an opportunity to bring together different organisations and donors from all over the world and engage in a meaningful conversation around the Global Standard as a tool to promote Dynamic Accountability, our stakeholder-driven approach to accountability.
On Sunday April 7th from 15:00 – 18:00, we had a workshop on Dynamic Accountability, “Accountability as a Lever for Change” at The Royal Inn, Belgrade, Serbia.
After the open dialogue, we had an opportunity to continue networking and talking while enjoying some refreshments. Organisations worked together on promoting a more dynamic approach to accountability and contributed to the learning.
[…] Many practitioners have been implementing, advocating and exploring different ways of practicing Dynamic Accountability. However, they have not had the opportunity to share and exchange their practices and knowledge. A sharing and learning space, which could become a community of practice would allow practitioners, academics and donors to gather diverse perspectives and explore different solutions on how CSOs can use dynamic accountability to foster a more participatory and inclusive approach, consolidating the concept even further.
