Empowering Civil Society: WACSI Enhances Digital Resilience of Nigerian CSOs

By April 11, 2024 Events, NMedia

In a landscape where digital prowess can amplify advocacy efforts but also expose vulnerabilities, civil society organisations (CSOs) in Nigeria have taken proactive steps to fortify their digital frontlines.

The West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI), with support from the Mott Foundation has enhanced the digital resilience of ten Nigerian civil society organisations (CSOs) to be able to safely navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape.

At a five-day training in Nigeria’s capital Abuja, the Institute took twenty representatives of these CSOs through digital security and advocacy strategies. The training held from 19 to 23 February 2024 was under the Digital Safety and Security (DSS) programme funded by the Mott Foundation.
