The Dynamic Accountability Community of Practice‘s second newsletter for July is out!
This month edition explores power, privilege and inclusion. As COVID-19 continues to shine a spotlight on these issues, coupled with the recent upsurge in the fight against racism and white supremacy, the as a community recognise that unjust power structures continue to prevail within our sector. Through Dynamic Accountability, however, civil society organisations can forge partnerships which deliberately shift the power to those who currently have less of it, engage more deeply with their stakeholders and ensure primary constituents are driving decision making, and raise up the voices and experiences of those most marginalised.
The Dynamic Accountability Community of Practice is a joint initiative by CIVICUS, Restless Development, Keystone Accountability and the Global Standard Partnership. It is a space where a wide range of civil society practitioners can come together to share good practices, discover useful resources, and learn from one another on the topic of Dynamic Accountability.
